After Hours Care

Extended coverage, after-hours and holiday care, is provided by the referral-only Access 365 Clinic

Patients may be referred to this clinic through two scenarios:

​

​If Valley View Family Practice is OPEN

• ​You call the clinic to book but your family doctor is fully booked or away

• Our staff will see if another clinic physician is available

• If not, then we will refer you directly to Access 365 for triage and scheduling

• Or you may be asked to call 811 for your concern if there is no one available in our office to help

​​If Valley View Family Practice is CLOSED

​

• Call HealthLink (811) for advice 24/7.

• ​Inform 811 that your physician belongs to a primary care network

• 811 may refer you to Access 365 for triage and to be seen urgently by a physician within 24-48 hours​

​

For medical emergencies, call 911 or proceed directly to the nearest emergency room. 

For urgent care, a referral can be made via our clinic, or by calling Health Link at 811.
