  • We get many prescription requests daily.

  • Each takes review time to determine proper new or ongoing use.

  • Non-appointment review and renewals are not covered by Alberta Health.

  • Please contact your pharmacy to ask for a prescription extension if fully out of your medication

With appointment (insured)

  • Prescriptions are best renewed during a virtual or in-clinic appointment.

  • New prescriptions must be discussed via an appointment.

  • Please make a list of your meds.

No appointment (uninsured = $40)

PLEASE NOTE:  Renewals may take 3 business days.

  • Some doctors may not renew without an appointment.

  • Review your supply and renewals, as refills may be available at your pharmacy.

  • Renewal requests from the pharmacy are also uninsured.

  • You may pay via e-transfer to vvfp@telus.net
